Anaerobic digesters require simple, low maintenance, means of sludge heating.

External concentric tube type heat exchangers are manufactured in stainless steel. These heat exchangers are very reliable, easily maintained and typically used on sewage/slurry type digesters

Internal ‘drop in’ plate type heat exchangers are manufactured in surface treated steel or stainless steel materials. These heat exchangers are roof mounted offering ease of maintenance and ideal for high/low solids digesters.
